GOING UP! ASCENSION NEWS

Stretched to the Limits of Extreme Contrasts

Just before starting this column, I glanced at my e-mail and opened a posting on QuesterNews an article titled "Infinite Possibilities" by Owen Waters; the next was a link to a YouTube presentation that told of many evil plots being perpetrated by elitist big bankers, and the next was a channeled message from the Hathors to Tom Kenyon telling of the increased plasma energy coming through from sun that will either provide a boost for ascension for those on an upward path or a source of increased struggle for those who are not. That about covers the gamut of what I want to cover here.

When I am at home, I avoid media news broadcasts, however, I just returned from a trip to California where I was delayed in airports, both going and coming, and those CNN headlines were unavoidable. Practically every news story had something to do with economic woes. I became aware of how the economic crash is being fueled by the programming of the masses through this pervasive media that generates very negative thoughts in the minds of its captive audience, which becomes a self-fulfilled prophecy. As I have written before, I see this crash as part of a collapse of systems that are obsolete and need to get out of the way to make room for better ways, and so it can be looked at as a positive thing. My husband Vyto asked me how I can feel good about something that is so bad for so many people! I persisted that we always have choices and that if we seek positive alternatives to this unhealthy lifestyle, we can actually liberate ourselves from old restrictive structures that don’t fit anymore and we can have a positive crash. Sort of like the airplane that recently crashed into the Hudson River with all passengers escaping unharmed. I am quite sure that was a positive crash for all those people and they are now feeling that they are blessed with a new lease on life. I know of many people who have lost their jobs and homes and have moved to where they have always wanted to live and are doing what they have always wanted to do and are feeling very liberated. Most of these people would never have done this on their own, so they are grateful for the crash.

A few nights ago, while visiting my 87 year-old mother in the hospital after her recent successful major surgery, the subject of the failing US economy came up and we both agreed that things are headed in the direction of the US government going bankrupt. Differences in politics and religion have prompted us to avoid those subjects for many years, but here we were agreeing so we pressed on. "What are people going to do?" she asked. "Well, you know Mom, I have been telling you about my new work in community development and I believe that is the answer" I replied. Previous to now she had only expressed minimal interest in what I have been doing, so I didn’t bother going into it with her, but this time I could feel her piqued interest as she asked "What was that place you visited in Scotland and why did you go there?" For the next two hours, I explained how the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland is a community that got started in 1962 by a group of friends who were in between jobs and were on the dole so they planted a garden to supplement their food supply. One of them discovered she could make the plants grow bigger by talking to them and she was able to grow forty pound cabbages, so the word got out and people starting coming to see the gardens and wanted to learn more. Some of those people stayed and it just kept growing from there. I told her that now they have 400 residents and they are self-sustained by growing their own food, providing their own electricity from windmills, handling their own waste, governing themselves via consensus decision making and many levels of management, creating their own economy by trading goods and services, creating income by offering many educational programs like the one that I attended about how to start a community/ecovillage, and by agreeing to live in harmony with Earth and each other. After going into more detail about all these things and the lifestyle, her one question was, "Do they allow Christianity at all?" When I assured her that they allowed total religious freedom and that I met a number of people who practiced a number of religions and she was convinced it was not a commune, she admitted that it sounded very ideal. She shared that it did sound like a good solution and direction for people to go as things continue to collapse. And she was pleased that I was involved in educating people about this way of life.

What I enjoyed most about this exchange was the dropping of barriers between us and a better understanding of each other as a result. Misunderstandings and misperceptions have been cleared up, and hurts that were a result of those, have been healed. Once again, one of my true heart's desires has been fulfilled, not just in spite of the collapsing economy, but because of it facilitating us finding our common ground. I can see many other ways that current planetary conditions will continue to lead us towards connecting more deeply with each other and supporting each other in meaningful ways. And isn't that what his life is really all about?

Yes, these increased plasma energies from the sun that the Hathors are discussing through Tom Kenyon (you can read more on Tom’s website www.tomkenyon.com) are now being measured by NASA scientists. This is more solid evidence of Earth’s progressive evolution and major shifts that are required in our systems to adapt. To me, this particular development really brings home the aspect of the extreme contrasts that are present on the planet today. When we choose positive thoughts and keep our hearts and minds open to new possibilities, these new energies accelerate our ascension process. If we choose negative thoughts and focus on the doom and gloom scenarios coming from so many sources, these energies will accelerate dissolution and decline. As the Youngbloods sang in 1967 "…We hold the key to love and fear, all in one trembling hand, just one key unlocks them both, it’s there at your command…"
